City Parks
Chilton offers  public facilities to use including a city-wide park system and a community room.

All park reservations require a completed usage agreement and payment within 2 weeks of reserving the park.

Parks:The City park system has 6 parks, 3 with shelters and restrooms that can be rented. (**Denotes available for rent.  Click on specific links at bottom of page to see picture of each shelter).

**Hobart Park – 231 W. Chestnut St. (near the fairgrounds). Hobart Park has an open shelter, restroom facilities and a variety of play equipment.   

**Klinkner Park - 815 Memorial Drive. Klinkner Park has a new shelter and restroom facilities along with a variety of numerous play equipment. Electricity is available at the open shelter.  

The Veterans Memorial located at Klinkner Park was recently transferred to the City of Chilton by the Veterans Memorial of Chilton, Inc.  The memorial is accepting additional nameplates to honor individual veterans.  If interested in purchasing an honorary name plate complete the application and submit with payment to the City of Chilton, 42 School St., Chilton, WI 53014 for further processing.  Applications received between November 1, 2015 and March 1, 2016 will be added to the memorial and dedicated on Memorial Day - May 30, 2016. 

 **Nennig Park – 224 Dove Ave. has a shelter and restroom facilities, four baseball diamonds, playground equipment, and basketball courts. The shelter can accommodate approx. 40 persons and has electricity available.  

Leahy-Lions Park – located at 139 W. Main has playground, restroom facilities and a canoe launch. The park provides scenic sitting area looking over the Manitowoc River. 

Morrissey Park - 509 School Court and was the former site of Chilton High School. Park includes the Morrissey Park Playground, built by the community in June 2008, Chilton High School football field and track, three tennis courts and a basketball court. The city recreation soccer program uses the park in the spring. In winter, an outdoor ice skating rink, which includes a warming house, is available for public use. Additionally, the city's riverwalk provides a paved walking/running/biking path along the Manitowoc River. There are also benches, flower gardens and piers to fish from.

Riverside Park - 139 E. Grand St. serves as a nice, scenic sitting/resting park along the river with playground equipment.

Park Bookings can be made by calling City Hall at 849-2451. Parks are available for rental from May to the end of September. Fees for booking all the parks are the same: $50 for resident and non-residents, plus $50 security deposit, if requested. Security deposit is returned if park is cleaned up after use.



All Community Room reservations require a completed Community Center form and payment within 2 weeks of the reservation.




Chilton Public School Pool Hours: The Chilton Public School swimming pool is open to the public for use. Passes are required to swim. Click here for the pool hours.
