Room Rental at City Hall

The City Hall has rooms available for community events, non-profit groups and others to be rented for various festivities such as showers, parties, and other uses (Tupperware parties as an example).

To reserve a room, please complete form below and return it to City Hall during normal working hours (Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).

Reservations are accepted via by either stopping in at City Hall or by phone by speaking with a City employee.

Reservations will not be accepted via voice mail or e-mail. You must speak to a live person.

Fees: User shall pay the City a Rental Fee of $50.00 and a Security Deposit Fee of $50.00.  Payment and completed Agreement must be received within two weeks of reserving a room.  Payment can be made by cash or by two separate checks each made payable to the City of Chilton.

General Rules: Building must be vacated by 12:00 midnight. No smoking allowed inside Community Room/City Hall. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for any function, provided the person(s) have attained the age of 21. However, no alcohol shall be sold and no admission fee shall be collected for any activity. Kitchen Use: The kitchen may be used by User(s) i.e. stove, microwave and refrigerator (limited space). Appliances need to be cleaned after use. Utensils and other kitchen items are owned and used by other groups, therefore, you must provide your own items.

Reservations can be made beginning the first working day in January for the upcoming thirteen month period.  Inclement weather - no refund.  Notification of cancellation received up to 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled booking will allow for a full refund.  Late notification will result in the City retaining the Rental Fee of $50.00.

User agrees to pay additional fees for damages or extra clean up time, if necessary, required to restore facilities. For security purposes, user or a designated attendant shall occupy the rented room at all times of the designated hours they reserved the room(s).
