Utility Bills/Payments

City of Chilton residents have the ability to pay their water/sewer utility bill on-line or in person with a credit/debit card.

 

Water/Sewer Payments at Chilton City Hall

 

Payments can be made at Chilton City Hall by either cash, check or by debit/credit card.  Convenience fees for debit/credit card payments apply, which is $1.00 for check/savings payments; 3% (+50¢ if under $100) for credit/debit card payments.

 

There is a depository box at Chilton City Hall just to the right of the main entrance. This box can be used at anytime, but is especially convenient for before and after regular office hours. Collections will be dated the date they are removed from the depository box. The deposit box is emptied Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m. Except holidays.

 

Water/Sewer Payments Online

The simple, secure, all in one bill payment service that's easy to use from any device. Just create your DOXO account, you can then go back into your account and setup your account for recurring payments.


Payments are also accepted at through Payment Service Network.  Please choose one of the following ways to make your payment: 

 

Option #1

  • Click Register to Pay if you are a first time payor. This option will also give you a chance to register your information to make future payments easier
  • Enter "Chilton" for Business City.  Enter "WI" for Business State.  Click SEARCH.
  • The "City of Chilton" Utility will appear under the CANCEL/SEARCH area.  If you move your cursor over the "City of Chilton" Utility area, the information will turn blue.  You have two different options of how you wish to make your payment.
        • Option #1 - "Register" will make an account and allow you to register your information to make future payments quickly.  Please follow the prompts to complete the Registration Form, if you are registering and making an account.
        • Option #2 - "Make a Payment" allows you to make a payment, however your information will not be saved for future payments and all information will have to be re-entered.  Please follow the prompts to make your one-time payment.
  • Confirm payment amount, convenience fee and total
  • There is a fee for using this process. It is $1.00 for check/savings payments; 3% (+50¢ if under $100) for credit/debit card payments.
  • Review the payer Terms & Conditions Agreement
  • Click "Accept" to proceed.
  • You will receive a confirmation that your payment has been completed successfully. Either print a copy of the confirmation receipt or at least write down the confirmation number to keep with your records in case there is a dispute with payment made.

 

Option #2

  • Click Login (Returning Payors) if you have already set up an account to make payments. 
  • Enter email address and password information.  Click LOG IN.
  • Follow prompts to make payment.  Confirm payment, convenience fee and total.
  • There is a fee for using this process. It is $1.00 for check/savings payments; 3% (+50¢ if under $100) for credit/debit card payments.
  • You will receive a confirmation that your payment has been completed successfully. Either print a copy of the confirmation receipt or at least write down the confirmation number to keep with your records in case there is a dispute with payment made.

 

Water/Sewer Automatic Payments

The City of Chilton offers residents the ability to pay their water/sewer bill automatically through their checking/savings account.

Auto Pay is a free and voluntary payment option. After completing a brief form and including a voided check, you authorize the city to withdraw the amount due on your quarterly water/sewer bill from the checking/savings account of your choice on the due date. The due date will be on the 20th of the following months: January, April, July and October.

Every customer will still receive their water/sewer bill in the mail to keep for their records.
